We provide you here with information on your travel choices so you can make the best informed decision for your vacation.
Decide on your vacation dates. The Philippine climate is tropical and is quite humid all year round. There are two basic seasons across the country: dry and wet. The dry season runs from December to May and the wet or rainy season from June to November. The best time to travel is when it is not rainy. Since this is the tropics, it does rain even in the dry season but more like a shower to cool one down. In Zamboanga, the seasons are less pronounced, relatively dry from December to April, minimal rain from May to August and wet from September to November. The city is rarely visited by typhoons. Plan your trip around a festival about to take place to get the most in travel
Check availability and fares of airline, shipping or land transport. Group travel is not only a cheap way to see the country but also a fun way to experience the places you visit. There may be a group or early reservation fare on either air, boat or even bus ride. Check schedules and rates of public transport before going to the terminal, as these may change without prior notice. It is also advisable to have the latest road map with you. Credit cards are useful when short on cash on hand and honored in major business establishments.
